3/10/2017 Techman Rugby Festival Success

On 27th September 2017, the first Techman Rugby Festival took place at Barlborough Hall School, Derbyshire.

The weather was very kind to us and the event was attended by over 70 under 11 school children from Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. They played some fantastic rugby during the afternoon culminating in a final between the Green’s (Westbourne) and Violet’s (Mylnhurst). Westbourne took the Techman Trophy home (4:0) this year but more importantly the event highlighted the importance of inclusion in sport for all and the work that charity READY (Recreation And Easy Access For Disabled Youth) do to help disabled children access sport and achieve their personal goals.

So far the Techman Rugby Festival has raised over £3500 – if you would still like to make a donation it is not too late, just click on the link below.
